Ambition in Life: To be an Architect May 9, 2009
Jay is 12 years old and he loves drawing. He is terribly gifted and has received several recognitions in his drawings. Jay mostly draws landscapes, buildings and houses. He also loves making his own housing and building designs that are often unique and creative.
Jay’s ambition is life is to be an architect. He wants to be like other famous architects that designed numerous buildings and landmarks that are recognized worldwide. Here are some noted architects that Jay looks up to:
1. Ieoh Ming Pei – A famous modern architect, I.M. Pei was born in China. He later moved to America to study engineering and architecture. I.M. Pei style is more on using sharp, geometric designs and huge, abstract forms. He is known for his several glass structures. Moreover, I.M. Pei has designed numerous skyscrapers, museums and even low cost housing. His most famous architectural designs are the Louvre Pyramid and the Bank of China Tower.
2. Frank Lloyd Wright – An architectural genius, Frank Lloyd Wright is a highly prolific American architect. Born in the 1867, He designed numerous homes, furniture and cathedrals in his days. His style is definitely modern and forward which is still loved by people today. Frank Lloyd Wright’s focus is mainly in organic designs using natural materials and light.
